Fab tool for making lessons out of newspaper articles

This tool gives you a 30 day trial at the moment and is called Lingle.

Basically, you can get the tool to design a lesson plan around a newspaper article of your choice.

1. You go on to the site and type in a subject, e.g. Siemens

2. Then it shows you all the articles about Siemens that are online and have most recently been published

3. Choose your article – one that would be most relevant to your students – and then choose what type of tasks you would like to do – gap fill, vocab, phrases, matching, sequencing, etc.

4. Press enter and it does it for you in seconds – a lesson with activities based on a recent article about Siemens.

It’s like having your own http://www.breakingnewsenglish.com site but choosing your own articles.

For the free trial, go to:

www.lingleonline.com

The trial gives you 15 lesson plans for free and lasts for 30 days. It is brilliant!
