ELTAS (The English Teacher’s Association Stuttgart) is letting me present to their members (and non-members) on Saturday. The session will cover Grundtvig grants and training options (both online and free) in 2013 and beyond.
So, if you are in the area on Saturday, come and check me out. To register go to: http://www.eltas.de/data/
Here is the blurb:
FEB 9th ELTAS 2-5pm
Grundtvig grants – money for nothing and your training for free!
Although most of us want to develop our skills with additional training, financial considerations can severely limit our choices. In this workshop, I’ll show you how to get funding for your professional development so you can train for free in 2013 and beyond. We’ll discuss Grundtvig grants and cover other training options, including online learning for those with travel limitations and free training solutions.
To begin with, you’ll learn about Grundtvig grants. I’ll go over the application process and show you what types of training courses are eligible for Grundtvig funding in 2013. I’ll cover the paperwork, show you what you can get, and give you samples of the completed application form.
Secondly, we’ll look at what’s available on the market and a schedule of options for 2013. This will include online courses for those who cannot travel and also what’s readily available for free.
